First, get to Basantapur after 15 hours drive from Kathmandu or flight to Biratnagar and then 5 hours drive. Then, stunning 3 or 4 days trek from Bansantapur up over the Milke Danda range, past the alpine lake of Gupha Pokhari to Dhovan.
First 16 km of rapids is intense, with rapid after rapid, and the white water just keeps coming through towering canyons until the big finale.
