Located at 100km northeast from Kathmandu and 12km from Tibet boarder, the bungee destination takes 3 hours of driving from Kathmandu. It has 166m wide steel suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River gorge at the altitude of 3600 feet. This is Swiss designed, especially for bungee jumping with a 4x safety factor. The bridge has a loading factor of 250kg per running meter meaning that the bridge can hold 250 x 166 = 41,500kg. Over 6000m of steel wire has been used to build the bridge standing as the longest suspension bridge in Nepal. This bridge connects two sides of a great valley and without it takes you more than 5 hours to get to other side crossing the Bhote Koshi river gorge.
